I have been MIA from the blog world since coming home from vacation. I guess I just haven’t had much to say. It seems like all I have been doing is working and running. Learning to love the treadmill again has been hard! Now I know how all of you non-treadmillers feel.
I have some healthy competition to keep me running. Running Mama Drama and I use the Nike GPS app to keep track of our mileage and now it has turned us against each other!! I fell behind this month so I had to get in some long runs to catch up to her! She and I are both running the Little Rock Half Marathon in less than 2 weeks so all this running is much needed.
I am going to step out of my comfort zone this weekend and go to a fitness class called Pulse. It is all the rage here and my sister has started going so I am going to tag along. It is an hour-long dance class similar to zumba. I am not a class person so this should be interesting. Running Mama Drama is going to try to join us too. I will give a full report after I check it out.
I ordered some Click protein powder to try after reading Skinny Runner rave about it all the time. I am not a coffee drinker but I love sweetened versions of it, like lattes and cappuccinos. I generally avoid them though due to the high calorie content so I am excited to have Click that is only 120 calories per serving and it tastes great! I have only tried it mixed with water but there are so many other ways to try it. I can’t wait to blend it with ice for my own version of a frappuccino!
Do you use an app to keep track of your mileage? Which one?
Are you a black coffee drinker or just the sweetened kinds like me?

Black coffee ftw. I can’t start my day without a cup in the morning. Best of luck with Pulse! I did Zumba and it was deff a sight to behold until I figured out the “routine” and moves. I was motivated though because my instructor was gorgeous and well if Zumba did that to her, why not?

Competition definitely motivates me to get on the treadmill! You should try the Nike app and challenge a friend to use it too!!

I drink my coffee black. Or I guess I should say I used to. Haven’t had a cup of coffee since testing positive. It’s sad, I miss it

Congrats on your awesome news!! Try decaf. Maybe you can trick yourself in to liking it just as well.
