I have been MIA from the blog world since coming home from vacation. I guess I just haven’t had much to say. It seems like all I have been doing is working and running. Learning to love the treadmill again has been hard! Now I know how all of you non-treadmillers feel.
I have some healthy competition to keep me running. Running Mama Drama and I use the Nike GPS app to keep track of our mileage and now it has turned us against each other!! I fell behind this month so I had to get in some long runs to catch up to her! She and I are both running the Little Rock Half Marathon in less than 2 weeks so all this running is much needed.
I am going to step out of my comfort zone this weekend and go to a fitness class called Pulse. It is all the rage here and my sister has started going so I am going to tag along. It is an hour-long dance class similar to zumba. I am not a class person so this should be interesting. Running Mama Drama is going to try to join us too. I will give a full report after I check it out.
I ordered some Click protein powder to try after reading Skinny Runner rave about it all the time. I am not a coffee drinker but I love sweetened versions of it, like lattes and cappuccinos. I generally avoid them though due to the high calorie content so I am excited to have Click that is only 120 calories per serving and it tastes great! I have only tried it mixed with water but there are so many other ways to try it. I can’t wait to blend it with ice for my own version of a frappuccino!
